Abstract
Provided herein is an apparatus that includes a radially extending through hole in an interperimeteral region and a radial channel extending from the through hole to an inner perimeter of an annulus. The radially extending through hole and the radial channel define a compliant flange operable to engage an annular groove. In some embodiments, the apparatus may be used as a screwless disk clamp in a hard disk drive.
