A pipeline corrosion control system may include a pipeline (102), a saddle (118) configured to provide support to the pipeline, and a support liner (200) having a tapered top side (206) and a substantially flat bottom side (208), wherein a plurality of grooves (214) are disposed in the top side of the support liner, and wherein the support liner is disposed between the pipeline and the saddle with the top side of the support liner associated with the pipeline and the bottom side of the support liner being associated with the saddle.
