Abstract
The instant application provides biomarkers for the identification of chemosensitivity in patient having cancer, in a particular embodiment the invention provides MST for the identification of chemosensitivity in breast cancer patient, wherein a reduced expression of XIST in the breast cancer cells of the patient indicates that the breast cancer stem cells in the patient may be successfully treated with HDAC inhibitor.
