Abstract
The present invention provides a polycarbonate blend which exhibits antimicrobial behavior while retaining excellent impact strength and color when aged at elevated temperature and humidity, even at significantly increased levels of antimicrobial additive. The compositions of the present invention are based on silver sodium zirconium phosphate of the composition: NaxHyAgzZr2(PO4)3, where x+y+z=1.
