The invention relates to a timepiece or piece of jewelry comprising an alloy containing at least 750 wt.-‰ gold, characterised in that the alloy also contains copper, palladium and indium, the sum of the concentrations of palladium and indium being less than or equal to 35‰, or less than or equal to 30‰, or even less than or equal to 25‰, and/or the sum of the concentrations of palladium and indium being between 15‰ and 35‰, or between 20‰ and 35‰, or even between 25‰ and 33‰.
