A POV camera system having at least two parts: a main recording unit and an external POV camera having a built-in microphone. The main recording unit also has a built-in camera and microphone. In the event that the external POV camera is disconnected from the main recording unit, the built-in camera and microphone of the main recording unit will activate, and audio and video recording will resume.
