Abstract
Disclosed herein is a coated flexible oriented polypropylene film having three or more layers comprising a core layer of polypropylene; a sealing layer; a metal layer opposite the sealing layer, thereby sandwiching the core; and a printable coating adhered to the metal layer, thereby sandwiching the metal layer between the core layer and printable coating; wherein the printable coating comprises at least one primer layer of an ethylene acrylic acid-based copolymer and/or ethylene alkyl ester copolymer and at least one print layer comprising an acrylic styrene copolymer.
