Abstract

The invention relates to an imaging system 200, in particular for a surgical device 1000 with a mobile handheld device head 100, comprising:

an image data acquisition unit 210 with an image recording unit, in particular a surgical camera 211, 212, which is embodied to register image data 300 of operation surroundings OU,an image data processing unit 220, which is embodied to provide the image data,an image storage unit 230, which is embodied to store the image data 300 of the operation surroundings and volume data of a volume rendering 320 associated with the operation surroundings. According to the invention, provision is furthermore made forregistration means 260, which are embodied to localize the image recording unit, in particular the surgical camera 211, 212, relative to the operation surroundings,virtual pointer means 250, which are embodied automatically to provide, in particular identify and/or display, a number of surface points OS of the image data 300, andassignment means, in particular with computer means 240, which are embodied to assign to at least one of the provided surface points OS automatically a volume point VP of the volume rendering 320.
