Abstract
Embodiments of the invention are directed to a method and device for creating and applying artwork on windows and window-like substrates that fluoresces or “glows” when illuminated by LEDs. The illumination device causes markings on the window surface to glow based on an arrangement of LEDs in a housing of the device. The device further includes a control component associated with the arrangement of LEDs for turning the device on and off. An attachment component of the device is used to position the arrangement of LEDs with respect to a glass surface, such as a window, for illuminating fluorescent markings made by a user.
