The optical unit for a lighting and/or signaling device for a vehicle comprising
- at least one source of light, such as an LED:at least one lens having an inlet surface positioned to receive light directly from the light source; andat least one colored element extending facing towards the inlet surface, the colored element being visible through the lens from the outside of the unit when the light source is switched off.
