Abstract
A reactive composition comprising:
- (A) a glycerol monoester; (B) an acid amide in which the chain length of the acid portion comprising the amide contains about 8 to about 28 carbon atoms; and (C) a molybdenum compound in which the oxidation state of the molybdenum is +6; and a product prepared by reacting the reactive composition, including a product in the form of a composition which is useful as a friction modifier; and a lubricating composition comprising a lubricant in admixture with the friction modifier.
