Abstract
The invention relates to a multilayer facestock of a label, and to a label having a facestock, wherein the facestock is machine direction oriented and comprises a core layer, a first skin layer and a second skin layer, and wherein the thickness of the first skin layer is 10 to 90% of the thickness of the second skin layer. The invention further relates to a use of a facestock for self-adhesive labels, and to a method for providing a facestock.
