The method includes executing an application execution program on the device, accessing a data structure of the application, executing the software agent within the applications data structure in order to extract information and/or content selected by the user based on the applications metadata, adapting, based on the applications presentation data, the information and/or content extracted by the software agent and, displaying the adapted information and/or content on the display screen of the device.
