Abstract
The present invention has an object to provide a switchgear capable of improving workability and a switchgear assembling method. The switchgear according to the present invention has: a plurality of switch units 2, 3, 4, 5 having a movable electrode horizontally driven and brought into contact with or opened from a stationary electrode; a plurality of operation mechanisms 8, 9 that operate the movable electrodes in the plurality of switch units 2, 3, 4, 5; connection members 13, 14 provided in the switch units 2, 3, 4, 5 and connected to buses A, B; and a casing that includes all the connection members 13, 14, the plurality of switch units 2, 3, 4, 5, and the plurality of operation mechanisms 8, 9. The switch units 2, 3, 4, 5 are arranged in a height direction. The plurality of operation mechanisms 8, 9 are provided on the front side or the rear side of the casing. The plurality of bus connection members 13, 14 are provided on the other side of the casing.
