Abstract
The present invention provides an electrolytic solution for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery and a nonaqueous electrolyte battery having excellent cycle characteristics and high-temperature storage characteristics without causing hydrolysis of a fluorine-containing lithium salt, such as LiPF6, contained as a solute and containing a less amount of free fluorine ions, as well as a method of producing the electrolytic solution for a nonaqueous electrolyte battery. The electrolytic solution for a nonaqueous battery of the present invention includes a nonaqueous solvent and at least one fluorine-containing lithium salt as a solute and further includes an oxalato salt represented by Formula (1), wherein the content of a hexafluoro salt represented by Formula (2) is 150 mass ppm or less,
