Abstract
A display enclosure with a monitoring system includes a display enclosure having an interior, a sensor positioned within the interior of the display enclosure, and a monitoring device coupled to the sensor. The interior of the display enclosure is sized and configured to receive a display device. The monitoring device includes a memory including a plurality of stored values defining a range, a processor communicatively connected to the memory, and a communication interface configured to communicate with a remote device. The processor is configured to process a signal output from the sensor indicative of a property of the interior of the display enclosure. The processor is configured to transmit a status message to the remote device via the communication interface if the property indicated by the signal is outside of the range defined by the stored values.
