Abstract

Methods having corresponding systems and computer-readable media comprise: accessing calendaring information associated with a smart teleconference meeting, the calendaring information including a time of the meeting, a meeting location, identities of meeting invitees, and contact information for the meeting invitees; transmitting the calendaring information from a meeting coordinator to a conferencing system configured to contact meeting participants and join them to the meeting; contacting the meeting invitees with the conferencing system conferencing system and joining them to the meeting; generating a roster of the meeting participants based on the calendaring information; tracking a participation status of the meeting participants; and updating the roster to reflect the participation status of the meeting participants.
