Abstract
A motor vehicle door lock that is equipped with at least one locking mechanism, one lock housing (1), a drive unit (2) arranged in the lock housing (1), and with at least one output element (3, 4) acted upon by the drive unit (2). The drive unit (2) is enclosed in a drive housing (8, 9), that is separate from the lock housing (1), is arranged therein, and is sealed relative to the lock housing (1). The output element (3, 4) is designed in two parts, with an interior element (3) arranged in the drive housing (8, 9) and an exterior element (4) that is mechanically coupled with the interior element (3), and is sealed relative to the drive housing (8, 9) and is arranged on the outside thereof.
