Abstract
The present invention relates to a stripper (11) for a work roll of a rolling stand, in particular a hot rolling stand, wherein the stripper tip (11) has a stripper tip (5) that makes a contact with the work roll (1), and a first screening element (8) for screening a rolled material (10) from cooling water of the rolling stand, wherein there is provided a second screening element (6) for screening the first screening element (8) from being thermally loaded by the rolled material (10).
