Also provided herein are methods of synthesizing novel chiral sulfinamide and imine compounds comprising simplified purification methods when compared to prior methods. The novel chiral sulfinamide and imine compounds are useful, for example, in the synthesis of complex natural products and pharmaceutical important compounds.
