Abstract
Disclosed is a valve for controlling a flow rate of an inlet fluid. The valve includes a housing portion that has at least one fluid inlet and at least one fluid outlet and at least two containers that are positioned at least partially within the housing portion. The at least two containers define respective interior portions for receiving a working fluid. The interior portions are in fluidal communication with each other, and at least one of the containers is arranged such that the working fluid in that container can exchange thermal energy with the or another inlet fluid. A change in a temperature difference between the working fluid in the respective interior portions of the containers and within a predetermined range of temperature difference causes a quantity of the working fluid to be transferred in or out of at least one of the containers.
