Abstract
A lens holding device comprising a lens carrier holding the lens; a base part supporting said carrier so that said carrier may make relative movement against said base part, a spring having a conductivity, resiliently connecting said base part and said lens carrier; and a connection terminal provided at said base part; wherein a housing groove is formed to said base part, said housing groove extending approximately perpendicular to an optical axis direction of said lens and having an opening at a side face of said base part, said side face extending in a direction approximately parallel to said optical axis direction, said connection terminal having a first end electrically connected with said spring, a second end opposite said first end, and a connection part resiliently housed in said housing groove connecting said first end and said second end by extending in a direction perpendicular to said optical axis direction.
