Abstract
A method of obtaining industrial water or drinking water from water that contains radioactive nuclides, in radium-containing groundwater including chemically pretreating the radioactive nuclide-containing water, and filtering the chemically pretreated water, wherein, in the chemical pretreatment, manganese dioxide is added to the water and/or manganese dioxide is generated in situ in the water and wherein filtration of the chemically pretreated water proceeds using at least one ceramic filter membrane.
