An improved piston pump assembly including a liquid pump having a variable volume liquid compartment and an air pump having a variable volume air compartment in which the pump assembly is secured to the neck of a bottle to the inner chamber-forming part of the fluid compartment inside a neck of a container and an air compartment for the air pump defined within an air chamber having a diameter greater than a diameter of the neck of the bottle and located external of the neck.
