Abstract
A drum for a laundry washing machine (W) has side walls (50, 51, 52, 53; 110, 111, 112, 113) defining a laundry receiving space (53, 113). At least one of the side walls is circular and comprises a plurality of openings (41, 61) for the passage of a liquid therethrough. The drum comprises at least a circular member (55, 65, 115) circumferentially associated to an inner portion (50a, 110a) of the circular side wall. The circular member defines a chamber (59, 119) for receiving the liquid from at least one receiving opening (43, 163) of the openings and comprises at least one aperture (66, 126, 266) facing the laundry receiving space suitable to modify the flow of the liquid from the at least one receiving opening to the laundry receiving space.
