The medical device includes at least one implantable functional element and at least one driver having at least one electronic component. The functional element is connectable to the driver. The driver includes a housing having at least one metal housing and at least one wireless communication device. The metal housing has at least one slot structure. The communication device is adapted to communicate through the slot structure with an external apparatus.
