The invention relates to a GPS and/or video data communication system, a data communication method, and devices for use in a GPS and/or video data communication system, in particular to a data communication method comprising the following steps: (a) providing image data (9; 19) recorded by a video camera (2); and (b) integrating additional image data (7a, 7b; 8; 15) into the image data recorded by the video camera (2). Alternatively or additionally, the data communication method can comprise the following step: integrating data obtained by a measuring device (4) or produced therefrom into the image data recorded by the video camera (2).
