Abstract
The present invention provides a hollow container that enables the suppression of permeation of the content of the hollow container to the outside. A hollow container 1A includes a hollow container body 2A and a sub-component 3A. The hollow container body 2A has an opening 2a in its wall. The sub-component 3A is inserted in the opening 2a and is in contact with an outer surface of the wall at a contact portion 2c of the container body 2A to seal the container body 2A. The container body 2A is made of multiple layers including an intermediate barrier layer 2x. The wall of the container body 2A is thinner at a circumferential edge portion around the opening 2a as a thinner portion 2b than at the contact portion 2c where the sub-component 3A is in contact with the outer surface of the wall.
