Abstract
An electrical connector includes an insulative housing defining a receiving chamber for inserting a test chip, a number of contacts with resilient contacting portions extending into the receiving chamber, a metal shell enclosing the insulative housing and a slide mechanism mounted onto the insulative housing. The slide mechanism includes a slider through which the insulative housing extends and an elastic member compressed between the slider and the metal shell. The slider is slidable with respect to the insulative housing so as to withdraw the test chip from the receiving chamber.
