Abstract
An apparatus and method for despeckling that includes a pulsed laser with a pulse width between 1 ps and 10 ns and stimulated Raman scattering light formed in an optical fiber. The stimulated Raman scattering light may be used to form a projected digital image. A second pulsed laser with a wavelength at least 2 nm different may be included and stimulated Raman scattering light formed in a second optical fiber may be combined with the stimulated Raman scattering light formed in the first optical fiber.
