Abstract
Provided is an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus including an STIC function, wherein, in order to make it possible to reproduce images with the correct time phase by preventing erroneous image reproduction due to time phase estimation failure, the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes: a time phase estimation unit that uses echo data to estimate time phase information of periodic movement of an examination object included in the echo data; an image processing unit that uses the echo data and the time phase information estimated by the time phase estimation unit to create an ultrasonic image of the examination object at each time phase; and, in addition, a time phase correction unit that corrects the time phase information estimated by the time phase estimation unit. The image processing unit creates an ultrasonic image using the time phase information corrected by the time phase correction unit.
