A connection system (1) for an energy storage device (2), wherein the energy storage device (2) comprises a plurality of cells (3), with a plurality of cell connectors (4) for electrical interconnection of the cells (3), with a storage control unit (15) for monitoring an energy supply and/or charging condition of the cells (3), with a plurality of control lines (17) for transmitting electrical signals between the cell connectors (4) and the storage control unit (15), wherein at least one of the cell connectors (4) and at least one control line (17) associated with said cell connector (4) are manufactured as a transmission element (5), jointly from a semi-finished product (6).
