Abstract
A tape application system for sealing a carton. The tape application system comprises a first tape applicator in the path of travel of a carton to be sealed and a second tape applicator in the path of travel of a carton to be sealed. An actuator is operatively connected to at least one of the first tape applicator and the second tape applicator and is for moving the first tape applicator and the second tape applicator relative to the path of travel of the carton to be sealed. A control device is operatively connected to the actuator to initiate actuation of the actuator.
