A device and method for removing moisture vapor from adjacent skin surfaces such as bariatric skin folds. The device may include a vapor permeable material, a spacer material, and an air mover that are configured to be inserted between adjacent skin surfaces. The device is inserted between adjacent skin surfaces and the air mover is operated to provide air flow through the spacer material.
