Abstract
There is provided an iron-based mixture powder for sintering, as well as an iron-based sintered alloy using same, that are capable of reducing the cutting resistance of the iron-based sintered alloy and of mitigating the shortening of cutting tool life even when a metal fluoride powder is used. The iron-based mixture powder for sintering comprises an iron-based powder, a graphite powder, a hard powder that is harder than the iron-based powder, and a metalfluoride powder.
