Abstract
A module (1) includes a stiff supporting structure (2) formed in a single piece and arranged against a lower beam of the motor vehicle chassis, the structure (2) including a rear face (4) including at least one attachment organ (12) to the chassis of the vehicle, and a front face (6) extending opposite the rear face (4), the rear (4) and front (6) faces being interconnected via at least one intermediate junction (8). The at least one intermediate junction (8) includes a flexible zone (34), the flexible zone (34) forming a deformable energy absorption zone (34) in case of an impact against the front face (6).
