Abstract

This invention relates to a system for medical treatment with consultation (the consultation system) and its method, designed to support several physicians located at different place and time to access the system at a designated time, share medical records on a patient and conduct medical treatment with consultation. To this end, this invention comprises the following stages: receiving a consultation request from at least one of the hospital terminals, physician terminals, and patient terminals; selecting at least more than one consulting physicians to participate in the consultation according to the said consultation request; receiving the medical records of a patient subject to said consultation from at least one of the hospital servers, hospital terminals, physician terminals, or patient terminals, providing the medical records to the consulting physicians, and conducting consultation pursuant to the registered consultation schedule by controlling communications among the said hospital terminals, physician terminals, and patient terminals; and transmitting the consultation progress information including the consultation schedule, consulting opinions received from the consulting physicians, and consultation data registered according to the consulting opinions to at least one of the hospital terminals, physician terminals, and patient terminals.
