Abstract
The invention relates to a device (10) for handling banknotes. The device (10) comprises a display unit (12) which is tiltable about an axis of rotation (40), a drive unit (34) for changing the tilt of the display unit (12) about the axis of rotation (40), and a camera (38) for capturing an image of an area in front of the device (10) opposite to the display unit (12). The camera (38) generates image data corresponding to the image. Based on the position of a detected body feature, a control unit (36) determines a tilt angle (α) and drives the drive unit (34) such that it adjusts the determined tilt angle (α).
