Abstract
The present invention is provided with a shaft, a gear case, a set of a motor, a deceleration mechanism, and a clutch mechanism, an electrically driven rotation range restricting mechanism, and a holding mechanism. The holding mechanism is provided between a shaft and a casing. This holding mechanism is established in a noncontact state with respect to the shaft and the casing in a range in which a mirror assembly rotates between a use location and a storage location, and is established in a contact state with respect to the shaft and casing so as to hold the mirror assembly in the use location when the mirror assembly is positioned in the use location. As a result, the present invention is compatible with hindering applying of a load to an electrically driven storage unit and holding the mirror assembly in such a manner as to be free of vibration.
