The medical fluid injector (100) includes injector head (100) and controller (150). The controller (150) performs processing of receiving an input of a distance from a first position to a second position of a patient, processing of receiving an input of time t1 for the contrast medium to reach the first position, and processing of receiving an input of time t2 for the contrast medium to reach the second position. The controller further calculates a flow rate of the contrast medium based on the distance from the first position to the second position and times t1 and t2, determines a moving speed of a bed of the fluoroscopic imaging apparatus in association with the flow rate, and displays the moving speed of the bed on a display of the controller.
