Abstract
A method for enabling the execution of an Intelligent Network (IN) service provided by a first IN service control system (6) in a telecommunications network (30) by means of an IN service trigger for invoking the triggering of the IN service, the telecommunications network comprising a switching system (3) communicatively coupled to a subscriber database (7), the first IN service control system, and a second IN service control system (33), wherein a trigger for the IN service cannot be provided by the subscriber database, and wherein the method is performed by the second IN service control system. The method comprises receiving from the switching system one or more parameters originating from the subscriber database. After receiving, information is identified from the received parameters indicating that the IN service provided by the first IN service control system is to be executed. An IN service trigger based on the identified information is formed, and the IN service trigger is sent to the switching system.
