Abstract
A printing and display device includes a flat panel display for displaying images from an external computer; a printer having an inkjet printhead; a video socket adapted to engage with a video plug and video cable from the external computer to receive therefrom a video signal; a print data connection for selective connection to the external computer to receive therefrom print instructions; a rear cover molding enclosing therein the flat panel display; a paper chute ; and an ink delivery bus provided within the rear cover molding. The rear cover molding includes an aperture for receiving therein an external ink cartridge. The aperture facilitates coupling of the external ink cartridge with the ink delivery bus. The ink delivery bus includes fluid ports for engaging with the external ink cartridge, each of the one or more fluid port including a hollow needle adapted to penetrate a seal of the external ink cartridge.
