The present invention is related to an aqueous cleansing composition for keratin fibres especially human hair with shear thickening property. Specifically, present invention is on cleansing compositions for keratin fibres, especially for human hair, based on at least one anionic surfactant, especially anionic sulphate surfactant, at a concentration of 2 to 25% by weight, and further comprising at least one amino acid surfactant, and at least one ethoxylated monoglyceride.
