Abstract
A method for adjusting the colour tone of dyed cellulosic textile fibre material comprising contacting said textile material with an enzymatic textile treatment composition comprising
- (i) a perhydrolase enzyme,(ii) an ester substrate for said perhydrolase enzyme, and(iii) a hydrogen peroxide source,for a length of time and under conditions suitable to permit measurable brightening of the textile material.
