Abstract
An adjusting device for adjusting a side cheek of a seat comprises a bending element (31) which is to be coupled to the side cheek and the curvature of which can be reversibly changed, and a holder with a base section (36) and a pivoting section (37) pivotably attached thereto. The adjusting device is designed in such a way that, when a force is exerted by means of an actuating device (21, 22), the bending element (31) is first displaced relative to the holder and then bent, so that a section (34) to be coupled to the side cheek executes a movement which runs first rectilinearly and then arcuately and which is transmitted to the side cheek of the seat.
