Abstract
A method of and apparatus for mixing dust comprises the step of introducing the dust into a closed passage and through a static mixer with a mixing element having a surface which is inclined with respect to the main axis of the closed passage and which is provided with a surface structure of a small scale, such that the dust particles arriving at the surface are reflected by the surface structure in a random manner.
