Abstract
The present invention has been made to achieve an object of securely attaching a push nut to a shaft. A vehicle outside mirror device according to the present invention is provided with: a push nut 37; a shaft 10; and an opening preventing portion 42. An engagement portion 25 is provided at the shaft 10. An elastic engagement portion 38 is provided at the push nut 37. An elastic engagement portion 38 is adapted to elastically return from the outside to the inside in a radial direction of the shaft 10 and then elastically engage with the engagement portion 25 of the shaft 10. The opening preventing portion 42 is adapted to prevent the elastic engagement portion 38 from opening from the inside to the outside in the radial direction of the shaft 10. As a result, the vehicle outside mirror device according to the present invention becomes capable of securely attaching the push nut 37 to the shaft 10.
