Abstract
The present backsheet for solar cell (1) is provided with a first resin layer (11), second resin layer (12), third resin layer (13) and fourth resin layer (15). The second resin layer (12) is an infrared transmissible colored resin layer, third resin layer (13) is a white-based resin layer, and fourth resin layer (15) is a back surface protective layer. Thickness (H.sub.A) of the first resin layer (11), thickness (H.sub.B) of the second resin layer (12), and thickness (H.sub.C) of the third resin layer (13) satisfy equations (1): 0.4.ltoreq.(H.sub.A+H.sub.C)H.sub.B.ltoreq.2.4 and (2): 0.7.ltoreq.H.sub.A/H.sub.C.ltoreq.1.3. A water vapor barrier layer (14) may be provided between the third resin layer (13) and fourth resin layer (15).
