The present invention relates to a confectionery product comprising an extruded body portion, the body portion having three or more capillaries disposed therein which extend substantially parallel to one another in two or more different planes, the capillaries being distributed in groups at one or more locations within the body portion and/or distributed around the periphery of the body portion. The invention also relates to a process of manufacturing the same.
