Abstract
A filtering element and method for making the same and a water treating device, wherein the filtering element comprises a water permeable support (1) having an organic material layer (3) on the surface, and an organic filtering membrane (2) which is covered on the surface of the organic material layer (3) and thus combined with the organic material layer (3). The pore size of the organic filter membrane (2) is 0.0015-20 .mu.m. The method comprises that organic material layer (3) is formed on the surface of the water permeable support (1); organic filtering membrane (2) material is dissolved into organic solvent to produce filming liquid of 1-10%; and subsequently the water permeable support (1) is coated with the filming liquid to form organic filtering membrane (2) on the organic material layer (3).
